David’s post: Kids and iPhones

In the days of the desktop computer, it was easier to control your kids’ use of the Internet. But now that kids have iPhones, what’s a parent to do? Yesterday’s BITS technology blog on the New York Times Web site evaluates different iPhone applications that allow parents to control which Web sites children can access.

Here’s an excerpt: “The debate over supplying children with Apple iPhones might be heating up, but perhaps a more pressing concern is the level of access that kids already equipped with smartphones have to the rowdy world of the Web.”
