FOX News Blogger Fired for Reviewing Leaked “Wolverine” Movie

wolverine_originsRecently, “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” was leaked on the Internet before its official release date (April 29 in select countries /May 1 in the US). The distributor of the film, 20th Century Fox, was obviously upset about the leak and went as far as calling in the FBI in order to figure out just how the movie was leaked a full month before its release. The company then terminated a contract with one of its own bloggers after they found out that the blogger had posted a review of the leaked film. Roger Friedman, a blogger for FOX News, posted a review of the leaked film a day after the leak. Though the review was glowingly positive, “fanboys” across the web urged for the blogger’s termination, citing that his actions were “reprehensible” regardless of how positive the review was.
